The Fraudulent O2 Internet Company

BOTTOMLINE: DON'T MAKE BUSINESS WITH O2, THEY ARE DECEPTIVE, FRAUDULENT, INCREDIBLY STUPID AND PROVIDE BAD SERVICES AS WELL

The O2 company deception

O2, in case you have not heard of it yet, is a phone and internet providing company. We, living in the Czech Republic, signed up to them recently, purchasing a 1-year subscription to their internet service, buying a 1-year subscription from them. Or, so we thought. Instead, their customer representative made us sign the contract, after previous discussion when we told her we want an option for wifi in our home for ONE YEAR. She told us we have to purchase a modem (for 2142 Czech crowns) and we also have to deposit 2000 crowns, to safeguard our subscription.

As it turned out, their O2 customer representative made us sign a contract (without giving us a copy) for 24 months!!!

Now, not only is O2 a deceptive dishonest, fraudulent company but it is AMAZINGLY stupid as well. We tried to get the bill online. However, my phone is also from O2, so when I signed up on the internet with my mobile number, I was not able to see our contract for the internet. We went in to the local O2 office to complain about it when it turned out that you have to use a DIFFERENT email address to be able to connect to your internet service with O2 because your first email address is connected to their phone services.

Now, have you heard before of a COMMUNICATION company that is not able to connect two different services TO THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS??!!

After we went in to complain to their local office and found out that we had been signed up for two years, instead of one (it is problematic because my work contract will end next year, which means that we will lose the deposit of CZK 2000) they explained to us that we have 30 days to change our mind about their service so we are still within that time frame and they will contact us within 30 days (another 30 days) and we can discuss it on the phone with them.

In spite of their claim, shortly afterwards, we got the following email:

:Lukáš Desenský Date 01. 08. 2016

Subject: Response to claim

Let me inform you of the result of our investigation of your request for a mobile phone

Otherwise, you must pay the penalty for failure to meet obligations.

Dear Mr. H., we would like to thank you for contacting us. We believe that this inconvenience will

not affect your trust in our company. We are looking forward to our future cooperation.

Due to the above mentioned reason it is not possible to consider your request as legitimate. Thank you

So they deceived us again!!! Is this typical of the Czech O2 only or is it an international feature of this O2 company?!

In case "O2" stands for Oxygen (a molecule of two Oxygen atoms) can I say I am breathless at their level of deception, stupidity, meanness and sheer incompetence! I am determined to bring them down. The one who gets the last laugh, will have the real laugh! Watch out O2, we ARE NOT DONE YET.
